They are looking for the best price, quickest & easiest closing, and nothing else.99.9% of the time, you will need extra cash to bring the home up to par.Most buyer's aren't aware of this. Also, most buyer's want to attack the purchase as a normal buyer-seller transaction. Unfortunately, it's not. The mortgage companies do not have emotional ties, or care what the buyer's logic is. The ball is in their court. Mortgage companies have the "you can take it or leave it" attitude. The process can leave a bad taste with the buyer that lost a home to another buyer.
